Spring Term 2023
Every term is unique. This term there were:
“The middles”: 12 students with 9 girls and 3 boys.
“The littles”: 5 younger children with their volunteer moms.
“The bigs”: The aunties were a total of 7 married ladies.
What do you think Mother wanted to work out with so many mothers and the married ladies volunteering this term? Either way, there was never a dull moment…
We were blessed with a variety of fusion food for the children, 2 birthday parties, the production of a play and dance performance at the end of the term, and a camping themed bye-bye party.
Prayer to Mother
Mother, in this lifetime, please guide me to become like a mother to everyone. We are all your children, however young or old.
Let me never react from my ego, but only see someone as their spirit. If they aggress, harm, blame, disturb or disrupt me, let me not defend my own ego, but let me see them from my spirit. Speak to me so that I may know what they need in that moment. Let me help them, pray for them, heal them. Let me be clear in the mind so that you may communicate with me to know what is needed.
Give me forgiveness where forgiveness is needed, compassion where compassion is needed, and fearless strength when a fight is needed. Speak the absolute truth through me and don’t let me shy away from Ganesha’s powerful rage to kill negativity attacking innocence. Remove conditionings of what’s “proper,” that otherwise holds me back. Let me not protect my ego’s pride, but instead be the vehicle for Mother to do her work. – Aunty, spring 2023
Letter to Borotin
This term the students of Canajoharie School “branched out” to the students of Borotin School.
They created a collective card in the shape of a tree. They filled it with their handprints and sent their loving messages to their brothers and sisters from around the world, which they look forward to one day meeting in person.
Mother’s day wishes from the school
One of the biggest highlights this term has definitely been the play on Shri Ganesha’s Birth and the Shri Ganesha Dance that followed; presented at Canajoharie on the Saturday of Adi Shakti Puja weekend.
The children put in a tremendous effort, but it would not have been possible without the collective’s support. For that, we thank you all!
It has been an absolute pleasure to work at Mother’s School this term. A beautiful opportunity for growth for the children, aunties, uncles, teachers, parents, and the collective as a whole.
Our hearts are filled with the love that our Divine Mother has been continuously channeling through us throughout the term, to be Her instruments of unconditional love towards Her children.
We wish to continue spreading this joy and really feel that words cannot describe this incredible experience here at the school. We hope this little piece of our experience here will inspire more to come. To fulfill Her vision for this school. To be part of the lives of the children who are the next generation of Sahaja Yoga.
With a full heart, we thank everyone who makes this school possible, and we thank our Divine Mother for Her blessings, her teachings, and her motherly love, which is never-ending.
With all our love,
The Canajoharie School Staff of Spring Term 2023.
