Celebrating 20 years

The term of Spring 2025 was especially meaningful, it marked the 40th session, celebrating 20 years since Aunty Theresa became the head dorm aunty and principal, and Uncle Russ, the steadfast support and backbone of CJ School. To honor their unwavering dedication, we created a scrapbook filled with photos and heartfelt messages from yogis around the world, former students, parents, and staff, all pouring out their love and appreciation. We surprised them with a celebration over the Memorial Day weekend, a joyful tribute to their two decades of selfless service.

Moreover, Aunty and Uncle received a collective gift that was presented to them during the Adi Shakti puja, which was held very significantly at the school this year.

Scrapbook “Cheers to 20 Years”

Dearest Russ and Theresa,

Words cannot sufficiently express our gratitude for your willingness, these past 20 years, to create, nurture, support, and grow the International Sahaj School at Canajoharie. Your dedication and love serve as a cornerstone for the nourishment of our Collective in the United States.

We recognize on this occasion your steadfast resolve to ensure that each child who has the opportunity to attend the Canajoharie school has been touched by Mother’s love, while receiving an education based on so much more than just academics. You have not only raised the children of our collective, but you also raised so many of us as better aunties, uncles, parents, and Sahaja Yogis. On behalf of your entire Sahaj family, we cannot thank you enough for this incredible and truly invaluable contribution to the establishment of the Ganesha Tatwa in the land of Virat. May Mother shower Her choicest and truest blessings upon you both.

All our love

Your brothers and sisters from the US National Council
