Under the loving leadership of Auntie Theresa and the skilful hands of Uncle Russ, the school building has been carefully preserved and maintained over the years. Despite their tireless efforts, the school building—particularly the kitchen—is now in urgent need of renovation.

The immense attention to detail and dedicated care of Auntie and Uncle have kept the school kitchen usable well beyond its intended lifespan. However, age and daily use have taken their toll. Photos taken during the final week of school, while the kitchen was being cleaned, clearly illustrate the current condition of the space.

New cabinetry, updated electrical systems, durable flooring, and modern appliances will greatly improve safety, efficiency, and hygiene, bringing the kitchen in line with current standards. These improvements will support staff in their daily work and create a clean, functional space for preparing meals that serve the school community.

This project is not only about repairing a space—it is about supporting those who serve the school each day and ensuring the kitchen can continue to meet the needs of students and staff for many years to come.
